The public came together in the Philippines and across the world to support the crowdfunding campaign 'Together for Tamaraws', raising money to save tamaraws from extinction and help protect the livlihoods of park rangers who protect them.
With the original aim of raising $23,000, $32,000 was raised for allowances and food packages for park rangers who lost much of their income due to COVID-19 related lockdowns.
The crowdfunding campaign is a story of partnerships, creativity and tapping into people's hearts.
